Who In The World Killed Jenny?!?!

I'm starting to wonder who the hell cares. This season has fallen beyond short of what I would have expected from a nail biting, jaw-clinching, edge of your seat series finale that is supposed to be season 6 of the L Word. Plain and simple; the story-lines have been weak, the scenarios predictable, and the sex weak as hell - Helena and that girl whose name I don't care to remember with that long, drawn out, melodramatic love-making scene where she cried tears of pleasure and fear and I yawned breathes of boredom, made me eager to just change the channel. I remember season 1, I had to watch with my legs tightly crossed with a glass of ice next to me just to cool off. What happened?!

Ugh. So, since the last episode will premier this Sunday - who in the hell killed Jenny. Everyone now has some sort of "motive" for killing the little devil in a Prada dress. A very cute Prada dress at that.

Bette - Jenny has a photo of her and her business partner in what seems to be a compromising position. Although nothing did happen between the two of them, the rumors and lies are flying and could spell the end of her and Tina. Now that Tina has this new job-offer in New York and the adoption appears to have fallen through; it could be no thing for Tina and child to pack up and leave. I'm not feeling Bette would be dumb-enough to kill Jenny; slap a bitch one good time, probably but she has too much common-sense and more than enough game to let this little thing ruin her.

Max - He's a pregnant man with baby daddy drama. Jenny, being the polite woman that she is, insists on negating Max's request to be referred to as a man and not a woman and although technically; Max is still a woman, the out-of-control pregnancy hormones could just drive her over the edge to choke a bitch if Jenny mentions how lucky he should be to have "such full breasts".

Alice - Jenny stole her manuscript that sold for a nice little bit of change and now has lost her incompatible girlfriend, Tasha to the cute volunteer girl. I'm sure she's more bitter the girl is into Tasha and not her; I know I would be a little salty but that's just my competitive nature. I can't see Alice killing anything - she's a little too obvlivious. If she did kill Jenny; I'm sure she probably wouldn't have even realized that she did.

Helena - She was upset at Jenny a few episodes and threatened to kill her but Helena is too in love to worry about Jenny's crazy self. Maybe she had her "taken care of" by someone else but she's too busy crying in love-making sessions to kill anyone.

Shane and Molly - Molly was in the preview for the last episode so maybe she came back to get her woman, Shane back and had to get rid of Jenny in the meantime. Not sure about that one though. Shane is just Shane, I don't think anything, not even that horribly embarrassing auction scene with Nikki Stevens, could make her kill anyone except herself. She's used to the drama, if anything, getting caught cheating is a relief.

Well, whoever killed Jenny is most likely to be someone completely off the radar that will bring us into a state of "shock" but I'm ready the whole thing to be over so I can disconnect Showtime and save myself 13 dollars a month.

I'm appreciative of what the L Word has been able to accomplish by showing some beautiful and successful lesbian characters on television and giving us something that we can all relate to in one way or another. Although most of the actors were straight and the show could have used some more women of color, I have to give the show it's respect for it's keen sense of style and showing lesbian women that mullets and Birkenstock's are not required fashion pieces for membership in our community.

So, L Word - thank you for that.
